With your help, the American Neuromuscular Foundation can fund research that will improve the lives of patients with neuromuscular diseases.

Research Committee

Identify and establish relevant neuromuscular research opportunities; review research proposals including but not limited to those from the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) and make funding recommendations to the AANEM Foundation for Research and Education; monitor funded projects; and evaluate submissions for the President’s Research Initiative Award and provide the President with rankings to assist with the selection of recipients for this award; and assist in identifying activities and opportunities to increase individual and corporate giving.

Committee Time Commitment: 10-12 hours per year
