The Daniel B. Drachman Division of Neuromuscular Disorders in the Department of Neurology, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine provides ACGME accredited training in neuromuscular medicine. Fellows in the program receive didactic education and hands-on experience in neuromuscular electrophysiology, attend neuromuscular clinics, provide neuromuscular inpatient consultations and participate in the interpretation of muscle and nerve biopsies. The faculty members of the neuromuscular division have clinical expertise and extensive research programs encompassing all major areas of neuromuscular diseases. Fellows are encouraged to take part in clinical or basic research programs during their fellowship. The fellowship is for 1 year, but an optional 2nd research year is available through identified faculty mentors.
