The University of Cincinnati Fellowship is a one-year ACGME accredited program of advanced training in the diagnosis and management of neuromuscular disorders.
Trainees will evaluate patients with all types of neuromuscular disease, acquire the skills to perform a comprehensive electrodiagnostic evaluation (EMG and nerve conduction studies), acquire the skills to perform single fiber EMG, perform skin biopsies for the diagnosis of small fiber neuropathies, and perform nerve and muscle ultrasound. Upon completion, the fellow is eligible to take the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Neuromuscular Medicine Certification and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine Examination.
