Our NM program is unique as it is the only tertiary academic program in the state of Oregon. We also receive referrals from Washington, Idaho, Alaska, and California given our wide catchment area. We have several active industry sponsored trials, two Certified ALS Centers (Portland VA and OHSU), an amyloid and myositis clinic, and several Neuromuscular clinics. We staff a busy NCS/EMG clinic with four NCS technicians and three Physicians averaging about 40-50 studies per week. Additionally we have access to a large neuromuscular pathology library with an array of diverse cases. Didactics are given by Faculty and Fellows 2-3x monthly, and Fellows are encouraged to participate in scholarly activity.
