What is Posterior Interosseous Neuropathy?

The posterior interosseous nerve controls extension of the fingers and some wrist extension. It can be injured by trauma, stretching, or irritated by muscles in the forearm. Treatment can include medication, physical therapy, splinting, and even surgery.
