Young Leadership Council
Members of the Young Leadership Council receive all of the benefits of being a Young Ambassador, as well as mentorship from AANEM board members and other leading physicians. Young Leadership Council members also receive a 50% discount on select AANEM education products, a $1,000 travel stipend for the in-person AANEM Annual Meeting, and free participation in a future Emerging Leaders Forum.
Medical students, residents, and fellows are eligible to apply for AANEM Young Leadership Council membership. Council members serve a 2-year term and are selected through an application process.
During the application process you will be asked to upload the following items:
- Personal statement of interest in joining the council
- Copy of your curriculum vitae
- Letter(s) of recommendation from your Training Program Director or other AANEM member
