Rules and Terms for AANEM Drawing
The sponsor of the drawing is the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (hereinafter “AANEM” or “Sponsor)”. Those qualified individuals who voluntarily participate in the Sponsor’s drawing agree to the contest rules and terms stated herein.
The drawing will take place in each industry forum session at AANEM Annual meeting to be held October 7-10 virtually (the “Meeting”).
Participants who attend any of the 7 industry forum rooms will have their names entered into a drawing to win a $1000 VISA gift card. Only one gift card may be won by any attendee. AANEM will pull a list of participants in the session at some point during the forum and randomly choose a name from the list of participants.
Eligibility for the drawing is limited to those over the age of 18 who are registered meeting attendees with industry forum attendance. A limited number of participants will be allowed to attend each industry forum and a will be drawn from each forums participants.
AANEM employees, vendors, and exhibitors are ineligible to participate. The odds of winning a prize depend upon the number of individuals who attend each industry forum. No purchase is necessary to be entered in the drawing.
The winning name for each of the prizes will be drawn and announced in the industry forum chat box, and winners must acknowledge their attendance in that chat box. If the winner is not present and does not acknowledge winning in the chat box, another name will be chosen at random until a winner who is present at the raffle selected. Prize winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state and local taxes on their prize, and AANEM will report the value of the prize to the IRS in accordance with applicable law.
Additionally, all prize winners must agree to participate in AANEM marketing photos/videos, social media or printed promotions related to the contest and to give AANEM an unlimited, royalty-free, perpetual, world-wide license to use the winner’s likeness in all such promotions, regardless or medium or format.
Neither the Sponsor nor anyone involved in administering or providing prizes for the drawing will have liability for (A) technical malfunctions, including those arising from electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, or (B) inaccessibility or unavailability of an industry forum session in whole or in part for any reason.
If for any reason this drawing is not capable of being conducted as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, acts of God, government regulations, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this contest, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the drawing. This contest is also void where prohibited by law, including in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these contest rules.
