This non-operative fellowship will offer comprehensive training in musculoskeletal medicine. Fellows will have exposure to a wide variety of patients with acute and chronic spine pain/disorders and musculoskeletal injuries/disorders of the upper and lower limbs. Fellows will learn evaluation and non-operative management of many different types of musculoskeletal complaints as well as indications for surgical referral. Fellows will work with attending physicians the majority of the time, however, will also have an independent Fellow clinic with attending oversight. Fellows will perform various fluoroscopically-guided spine injections, ultrasound-guided injections, diagnostic musculoskeletal and neuromuscular ultrasound, and EMG's. Fellows will be eligible to sit for the Electrodiagnostic Medicine board certification exam and subsequently the Neuromuscular Ultrasound CAQ exam. They will also be eligible to sit for Musculoskeletal Ultrasound certification exam (RMSK). Fellows will have regular MSK didactics and journal club. There will be opportunities for sports medicine experiences/event coverage, performing arts medicine, teaching, and research.
