Letters of Recommendation requested for applying

The Lovelace-UNM PM&R Sports Medicine Fellowship Program is a one-year advanced fellowship located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rotations are divided into 12, one-month rotations, switching on the first of each month. Fellows spend 8 months in “core” sports medicine rotations, with 4 months of elective in which they can tailor their sports medicine experiences to focus on areas of need or personal interest. Fellows learn collaboratively alongside two other primary care sports medicine fellows (with backgrounds in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine) and two orthopaedic surgery sports medicine fellows. The program offers extensive opportunities for sideline coverage as well as procedural instruction related to the practice of sports medicine including musculoskeletal ultrasound (diagnostic and interventional), fluoroscopic-guided injections, and electrodiagnosis.
