Henry Ford (HF) Health Systems Clinical Neurophysiology-Neuromuscular/EMG track Fellowship program comprises a dedicated team of physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff who provide primary and consultative care to patients with peripheral nervous system disorders. Our program is very diverse in terms of gender and ethnicity, with pleasant and easily approachable faculty. We have AANEM Electrodiagnostic (EDX) Laboratory Accreditation with a diverse patient population and immense training opportunities to learn simple to complex electrodiagnostic studies (EMG). Fellows attend EMG case-based interactive sessions and basic and advanced neuromuscular educational conferences. Our program provides plenty of research opportunities and academic support to help fellows prepare their research work for presentation at national/international meetings or publications. Fellows participate in our multidisciplinary ALS, myasthenia gravis, neuropathy and autonomics, and if desired, botulinum toxin clinics. There is an additional rotation in the muscular dystrophy (MDA) clinic at the Children's Hospital of Michigan. We provide exceptional training in Clinical Neurophysiology-Neuromuscular/EMG to enter an academic or private practice setting.
