The NYU Grossman School of Medicine Neuromuscular Medicine fellowship is a 1 year ACGME accredited training program in disorders of peripheral nerve, muscle, neuromuscular junction, and anterior horn cell. The fellow will become adept at the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for adults and for children. Training includes extensive clinical exposure to patient care and to a broad range of electrodiagnostic (EMG) techniques in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. The fellow attends weekly MDA clinic. A large neuromuscular faculty provides training including genetic diagnostics and therapeutics, neuromuscular ultrasound, immunological treatments, nerve, muscle and skin neuropathology, and rehabilitation.
