CMS Mandates Providers Have 60 Days to Return Overpayments

According to final regulations released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on February 11, 2016, physicians must actively look for overpayment through self-audits and other forms of research.  Physicians have 60 days from the date of identification to return overpayments to Medicare.

Corticosteroid Treatments in Males with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

This study in the Journal of Child Neurology evaluated the association between steroid use and loss of ambulation in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in 477 patients collected at multiple sites over 30 years.
