Technologist Certification
The American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM) Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) credential is designed to capture the specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities of technologists who specialize in performing nerve conduction studies (NCSs). CNCT technologists who earn this credential will show both the professional community and members of the public that they have achieved the highest standards of excellence in the performance of NCSs. Technologists who pass the exam are asked to participate in a maintenance of certification program (TMOCP) that demonstrates to the public their ongoing commitment to keeping up-to-date with changes in the field.
