7/13/2018

The 2018 AANEM Annual Meeting is featuring 2 sessions in which challenging EDX and NM cases will be discussed: the EDX NM Challenging Cases Session on Wednesday, October 10, and the Challenging Cases Roundtable on Friday, October 12. If you’ve encountered a difficult case you’d like to submit for discussion at the meeting, you’re encouraged to send it in to Bashar Katirji, MD by September 15, 2018.

EDX NM Challenging Cases Session – Wednesday, October 10
Submit your most unusual and difficult NM disorder clinical cases for the session, “EDX NM Challenging Cases,” to be held on Wednesday, October 10, from 8:30 am-12:00 pm. The session is included with general registration, but it relies on attendees to provide cases for discussion. Email your case(s) to Bashar Katirji, MD by September 15, 2018.

Challenging Cases Roundtable – Friday, October 12
Bring your difficult case to the meeting (or email it in advance) and meet one-on-one with experts to discuss performance and interpretation of studies and receive clinical input (4 experts will be on hand). The more intimate setting will allow you the opportunity to dive deeper into discussion of the diagnosis and possible treatment on the case. This session will stimulate discussion of quality EDX studies and is limited to 50 attendees. Be sure to register for the Challenging Cases Roundtable on Friday, October 12 from 1:30-3:00 pm. Email your case(s) to Bashar Katirji, MD by September 15, 2018.
