Meet Our New Education/Meeting Manager

D_BrennanDenae Brennan started work as AANEM’s Education/Meeting Manager on Monday, July 8. She brings to her new position expertise in event planning, writing/editing, and project management.

Brennan’s work experience includes about two years as a Public Affairs Associate for Mayo Clinic’s Department of Laboratory and Pathology and Mayo Medical Laboratories. Before moving to Rochester, she worked as the Events and Outreach Manager for the Arizona Opera in Phoenix with a yearly special events calendar that included more than 50 activities. She also served as a Media Relations Specialist for five years with the Fiesta Bowl in Scottsdale, AZ, editing more than nine publications, overseeing 100 media operations volunteers, and handling game week logistics at the media hotel and press box.

The new AANEM manager is active in the Rochester, MN, community, including working on fundraising and events for the local Boys & Girls Club and symphony orchestra.  She has a B.S. degree in Journalism-Strategic Communications, with a minor in English from the University of Kansas in Lawrence.
