Editorial Submissions
2010 Editorial Submission Deadlines: January 15, April15, June15, September 15
Science in Brief Submissions
Members are asked to submit abstracts of recent scientific publications from any contemporary science journal relevant to the fields of electrodiagnostic or neuromuscular medicine. Selected authors will then submit a 500-word editorial summarizing the study for an upcoming issue of AANEM News. Proposed abstracts can pertain to research related to clinical neurophysiologic techniques, basic neurophysiologic studies of the function of peripheral nerve, neuromuscular junction, muscle, or motor neuron, studies concerning pathogenic mechanisms of neuromuscular diseases, preclinical therapeutic trials of neuromuscular diseases, or important clinical research trials. An appointed AANEM News Science Editorial Board reviews the abstracts to identify relevant scientific articles and the author of the editorial will be chosen at the discretion of the board.
