Practice Guidelines for CME
In an effort to improve the quality of electrodiagnostic medicine offered to the nation's population, the AANEM has developed several Practice Guidelines that define effective means of diagnosing, treating, and managing various conditions and diseases. These Practice Guidelines are based upon literature review (scientific research in the form of randomized, controlled clinical trials, reports of series, or case studies) and/or expert clinical experience. Adherence to these Practice Guidelines will help ensure relevance, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and diagnostic accuracy in the practice of electrodiagnostic medicine.
