Residents/Fellows: Become an AANEM Leadership Liaison; Applications Due March 31, 2018

1/23/2018

If you are a resident or fellow member looking to become more involved in AANEM and provide input to the AANEM Board of Directors on issues impacting members like you, you are encouraged to apply to become an AANEM Resident & Fellow Member Leadership Liaison. The deadline to submit your application or nomination is March 31, 2018.

"My experience was very positive. In addition to being part of the board, I also participated in the Marketing & Membership and GME committees, where I felt my unique perspective as a recent trainee was very much appreciated. It was a wonderful opportunity to become more involved in the organization, gain understanding of how a professional organization is run, and network with leaders in the field," ~Sarah Yang, MD, 2016-2017 Resident & Fellow Leadership Liaison

“I was so welcomed by the staff and leadership of AANEM. I was included as a part of the board activities as if I was one of these well known, experienced leaders with whom I was rubbing elbows. It was very encouraging as a resident/fellow to see that the AANEM wanted to hear my views and discover what my peers and I wanted from our organization.” ~Megan Clark, MD, 2016-2017 Resident & Fellow Leadership Liaison
