Our Self-Assessment Examination (SAE) application process is now paperless. To make the registration process fast and easy, please note the information below.
- Anyone taking the SAE must have an account with AANEM. Before beginning the SAE registration process, ensure all candidates have created an account. Anyone who has attended an AANEM meeting or bought products from AANEM will have an account with AANEM. If your resident or fellow does not have an account have them follow the steps below. If they are unsure, they can call AANEM at 507.288.0100.
To create an account:
- Click the “Login” link in the upper right corner of the page.
- Click the “Create a new account” under the login and password.
- Complete the profile information and submit.
The e-mail indicated in an individual’s account will be used to communicate scores when the results are released in June 2011. If you already have an account with AANEM, you can verify your email address on file with AANEM by logging into the website and click the View Profile in the upper left hand corner.
- To register candidates for the EDX or NM SAE you must use the login and password of the physician listed as the EDX or NM SAE Liaison. This should be the Training Program Director’s (TPD) login and password. All TPDs and physicians who have previously given the SAEs are listed as the EDX and NM SAE liaison in their Profile.
- If you are offering both the EDX and NM SAE at your institution, you will need to click on each of the following links and register candidates for each corresponding SAE.
