This fellowship is designed to provide training/experience in EEG inlcuding EMU, NCS/EMG, evoked potentials, neuromuscular junction studies, sleep disorder evaluations, and autonomic studies and clinical experience in epilepsy and neuromuscular diseases. Ample patient material is available to master these techniques and develop competence in them. Strong emphasis will be placed on correlating the patients' clinical symptomatology and findings with the physiological data collected. A research program in any of these areas will be structured to meet the needs of the fellow. This may involve varying degrees of clinical and physiological research. The activities of the Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory are closely correlated with clinical programs in Neuromuscular Diseases, Epilepsy, and Behavioral Neurology.
