The Department of Neurology at Louisiana State University (LSU) offers two fellowship positions. Approximately 1500 electrodiagnostic studies are performed each year in a diverse population of patients with neuromuscular disorders. LSU hosts a Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic and a Peripheral Nerve Trauma Clinic. There is a strong clinical and research interest in peripheral nerve diseases. We process and report approximately 160 muscle biopsies and 50 nerve biopsies each year. There is a wide range of basic and clinical research projects available and fellows are expected to participate in research.
Interested applicants should provide their curriculum vitae and at least three letters of recommendation.
