Type of Fellowship:   

Clinical Neurophysiology, We also have 3 alternative/specialty fellowships, and the clinical neurophysiology fellowship can be based on any of the 3; EEG/epilepsy, EMG/neuromuscular,and Sleep.
 

Duration of Fellowship:   

1 year

Prerequisite:   

Completion of a 3-year adult neurology residency.

Starting Date:   

July 1.

Salary Level:   

PGY-5.

Application Deadline:   

None, however the positions are usually filled by December.

Approximate Interview Date:   

Beginning September 1.

Approximate Final Decision Date:   

January 15 or later.

Meets American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine Examination Eligibility Requirements:   

 

Description:   
Two types of fellowships are available:
  1. One-year training in electroencephalography, electrodiagnostic medicine, and evoked potentials - one position.
  2. One-year training in electrodiagnostic medicine and neuromuscular disorders - one position.
