Neuromuscular Ultrasound Certificate of Added Qualification
Are you looking to expand your expertise in the field of neuromuscular ultrasound (NMUS)? The ABEM NMUS Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) program is available to qualified ABEM-certified physicians who demonstrate mastery of the knowledge and skills required to effectively use NMUS.
The exam is administered online and proctored via AI technology in early fall every year. Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for the year in which the examination is taken, regardless of prior approval. Eligibility does not carry over automatically from year to year. The CAQ is a one-time examination with no maintenance of certification/continuous certification required. The certification does not expire.
